Halloween is on it's WAY!

So I have a love/hate relationship with this holiday. It is always fun to dress up like someone your not, but sometimes Halloween gets a bit crazy. I just get sick of all the scary stuff. All the TV channels play scary movies, there are tons of haunted houses, and the constumes seem to get more and more outrageous every year! Well I found something that made me smile! Here is a website that made me smile. :) http://features.parents.com/baby-halloween-costumes.html

So it's Tuesday....

Ok well the NEW thing I am going to try to do is post cool and funny things I find and think everyone needs to check out. So here is the first one list of fun things to do on a boring Tuesday.
1. Everyone needs to check out this really cool site. Made by someone I think it pretty talented, http://www.tidebox.com/index.html. Check it out, explore the site, leave a comment, and let me know what you think of it!

2-Write someone a letter. There are plenty of people who love to get old fashion letters. Let's face it once and a while it's nice to see a cute note or letter that isn't another bank statement or bill.

3-If you are already having a crummy week check this site out! http://www.pakin.org/complaint/. It is pretty funny and does the work for you!

4- Rent the Movie THE PROPOSAL. A really stinking funny movie and sometimes on these terrible Tuesdays we just need something to laugh about.

5- Look at something that will make you smile http://www.laughters.org/wp-content/uploads/2009/02/cutedog.jpg

6- Give someone a hug because I know that someone out there really needs it.

7- Get thinking. Check out this inspirational/interesting site http://makesmethink.com/

Thanks for reading! Check back later for more new stuff, updates, and cool stuff. I also want to get comments on stuff you want to know about so let me know. Leave a comment!

Weber State, Weber State, GREAT GREAT GREAT!

Well I guess it has been quite a while since I have updated my blog! It's crazy, I know, but I finally had time at 2:30 in the morning to think about it and update. Weber State University has been quite an eye-opening experience. I have learned a lot of new tricks of the trade for school, and made a whole lot of new friends. It has all around been a learning experience, from learning in/out of school, to balancing work/friends, to living on my own and trying to keep up with family and friends that aren't here. It has been a whirl-wind of experiences. I love the college scene as a whole though. It is very different then high-school and I love getting to be on my own making my own memories, and learning from my own mistakes and experiences. It just seemed like yesterday that we moved into our house in Riverton and now look at me. I am at Weber State, in college no less, and life seems to just keep coming without warning.
I have been up to a lot while up here. I study, eat, go to class, work, sleep and repeat. The cycle sometimes consists of me seeing the boyfriend, family, or hanging out with friends, but it seems to just be the same old college life.

LONG LONG TIME!

Wow it's been quite a while. I guess that life gets really busy and crazy so it get hard to blog. Plus my comp is in a land far far away right now so no connection means no blog. Lake Powell was visited by the mighty me a couple weeks ago! Whoot :) We had a great time jumping of cliffs, water skiing, tubing, and just relaxing. Coming home with a tan isn't to bad either. I helped my Boy move this month as well. He's loving his new pad and excited to go to UVU. I am also moving up to Ogden to attend Weber State in a couple weeks! I am excited to get started and go to nursing school. My nerves are killing me right now but no worries things should be ok.

RHS Says Goodbye

Well It happened. I finally graduated! WHOOT! It was a great ceremony. We had three lovely speakers who challenged us to be our best and write our own stories! Our beloved prinipal Mr Park spoke as well. This was his last year at Riverton High and many others and I got quite choked up listening to him. He was very emotional and sincere. Life without Riverton and High School is looking good so far. With working at the Care Center as a CNA and hanging out with friends it's gotten pretty busy.

Another reason I wrote today was to honor the passing of Ms. Boberg. She was a lovely teacher and amazing mentor to many students, teachers, and friends. She will be missed and there will be a candle-light vigil in front of RHS at 9:30pm on Tuesday. If you need to say your goodbyes and honor her be there. All are invited
